The Italian developer plans to build 254 MW of solar PV in the state of Bahia, which will require a US$400 million investment.

Enel Green Power has announced that it has been awarded 344 MW of wind and solar PV projects in Brazil's auction for reserve power held last Friday.

This includes a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for the 254 MW Ituverava PV project, which Enel plans to build in the state of Bahia. PV Magazine was unable to reach Enel by press time to learn if this would be one large, single-site plant or a series of smaller plants.
